Mr. Gerald Myers-Biney
Executive Director
Mr. Gerald Myers-Biney is a distinguished Development Practitioner, Policy Analyst, and Public Interest Advocate with extensive experience in leadership, governance, strategic management, institutional development, and socio-economic transformation. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Africa Center for Development Practice and Global Engagement and the Group Chief Executive Officer of Nexus Investments Group, where he provides visionary leadership and strategic direction across diverse sectors of business and development practice.
Mr. Myers-Biney has built an accomplished career spanning public service, development administration, international relations, finance, education, and institutional management. Prior to his current roles, he worked with several notable public institutions where he gained significant professional expertise and leadership experience. His career journey includes service at the Public Works Department, the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), and the Non-Formal Education Division (now Complementary Education Agency) of the Ministry of Education.
His broad professional background has equipped him with deep knowledge in policy formulation, organizational development, stakeholder engagement, project implementation, conflict resolution, and strategic leadership. He is widely recognized for his commitment to public interest advocacy, sustainable development, youth empowerment, and inclusive economic growth.
Academically, Mr. Myers-Biney holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Psychology from the University of Ghana.
